We had a pretty good day, accomplished a lot.
For some reason Amanda was in a silly mood. She just got loose and giggly. Kind of nice to see her like that.
So… at lunch she wandered into an idea: what if I were written up as a real estate listing.
Right. I don’t know how she came up with that.
She played it out: How would the listing read if I, Shae, were the property? What if I were the model house being described? Crazy, silly, but Amanda couldn’t help herself from running with the idea right then and there.
So over salads we giggled and brainstormed and composed a description of sorts, as if I, a model house named “The Shae,” were listed in the MLS. An exercise, for sure, in double entendre.
Amanda insisted I post it here.
It’s certainly at my expense, but I don’t mind.

I’m surprised! Your listing says nothing of the Amanda that overlooks the shae. I hear it is self built and part of a strict HOA. Applications may be necessary to keep out the rif raf. 🤣

Nice Post. I was also thinking a cartouche with the hieroglyph for “slave” would look nice on the ring on your collar. I know it has nothing to do with your mock listing but I just thought I would share that.

David, I would actually like that. I’ve always thought that slave collars that say “Slave” are kind of cheesy, though that’s just me, and maybe it’s just that I don’t want to be seen that way. But I would rather do the hieroglyph thing, as you suggest. I wouldn’t mind (so much) having to explain to someone what the images say. Of course, now, Amanda will read this and she’ll do it… Thanks a lot, friend 🙂
